Eh, today was not my best.

But I did get to check off the little Ninja Focus! milestone in my NaNo booklet thing, because I wrote over 1667 words without getting up for the first time.

My new word count total is 16,706.

I finished chapter seven, which is officially 1,554 words, which is okay.

Also, I'm now completely done with the first third of my second novel!  This feels pretty great.

I am determined not to let Sophomore Slump week affect me as bad as I think it did last year, but I need plot, for I am allll out for now.  I don't want to start the conclusion anywhere near now, and save for the vague idea of an evil Mr. O'Callaghan, I really hadn't thought of much for middle.

Still two days ahead of schedule, even if today was a generally hard, dull, and uninspiring day.

But, I did draw to a close the insanely massive chapter six, at a finish of 4,497 words, which is awesome.  But I finally broke it up so that I've got a chapter seven and a progression in the plot.

My spreadsheet is officially my newbestfriend, because it tells me everything.  How much I write, wordsperminute, wordsperhour, and it's telling me that I'm officially 30% complete with my novel.

This year is being a lot more fun and less stressful than last year, but it's only week one, so I still have time to bite my tongue on that one.

Music today only Cute Is What We Aim For's album "The Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch", and that's it, wow.

Anyway, now I desperately need ice cream to heal the traumatization that this month is giving me alreadyyy.

Today was amazing.  Making things up off of the type of my head does work for me, and now I know what H.'s big secret, time travel mission has been this whole time.

New word count total: 13,452

All still a part of the still growing, sure to be massive chapter six.

My Word document is already over 22 pages, which is astounding, because my whole novel last year was only 89 pages in total.  Also good, since I would love a 70k novel this year.

Music today was Conor Oberst's self-titled solo album.

Not much else to report, other than that I love Splenda's coffee flavoring packets.

Also, my WPM today was up to 45, which was the best I've done since day three.

Good day.  Could've been better.  I desperately need plot.

Total word count: 11,641 words, still pretty awesome, I just need to start pounding it out again.

Total words for chapter five is 1,786 words.

An intermission that has 227 words.

And I'm still working on chapter six.

Tomorrow I need to, I don't know, but I have to do it, haha.

Okay, back to feeling kind of confident.
I scared myself by not starting any kind of writing until after six p.m. No more of that!
And I do really have to plot out at least two chapters in advance from now on, because honestly, I have no clue where my plot is or where it's going. Most of what I did today was filler, which I accept is necessary, but it sucks to write.
BUT, MY NEW WORD TOTAL IS 10,002 WORDS! ON DAY FOUR! I'M SO EXCITED!
I may actually hit my 70k pipedream wordcount. But I don't know. The winds they are a'blowin.
All I worked on today was the still unfinished and purposeless chapter five.

Music today, almost exclusively Tokio Hotel, German versions only, and a little Automatic Loveletter.
I need to hash out my musical range already and get in some variety, try new things that don't make me singalong.
And I just decided to occasionally glance at Stephen King's "On Writing" when I'm terribly uninspired, because I just found an online copy to read.
Otherwise, I don't know. I actually forgot to use a totem-bracelet today, or anything really, so I'll blame the bad writing on that. Though I am wearing new, lucky underwear.

Anyway, I'm pretty far ahead, but tomorrow I am so focusing on plot and if I only write a few hundred words, I may be okay.
Week one = awesome.

So, I'm definitely going to have to fix myself so that I don't make days like today part of my routine.

End of day three total: 8,306 words.

Which means that today I only wrote 716 words today, but I'm trying not to let it bother me, it was still okay for a day, and I needed a little rest.  I'll get better, once I get plot.

Haha, mysterious package ended chapter four, now I have to know what's in it.

Today I only wrote chapter 4, which gives it a total of 717 words.

Small in comparison to the first three, but it has a purpose, it's small for emphasis, or something.

Tomorrow will get better.

70k may still be a pipedream of ridiculosity.

It's odd to be done at 4:46 p.m., but I'm just so tired and I've been trying to ward off a headache since noon.

The little organization flip book I printed out weeks ago has shown to be a guiding light of amazing, especially for keeping track of characters.

I've also finally caught myself up by not plotting ahead enough, so if I do anything else today, it'll be that, or else I'll get very behind having to come up with something out of my ass to write tomorrow.

Anyway, today was the alpha and the omega of chapter three which comes to a healthy total of 2,574 words, which wasn't all I could milk it for, but it worked out fine.

Next chapter is four, and I want it to be action-y and confrontational, but maybe it's too early?  I don't know.

I also like that so far, my whole novel is already 13 pages in MSWord, which I believe that last year's novel only came to around 89 pages or something.  Maybe that's a difference between the o5 and 07 versions of the software, but I'm pretending there's no way it is.
